Big Head Todd & The Monsters

Possibly the coolest blues-rock band in the universe, Big Head Todd & The Monsters were a quintessential part of the Colorado music scene in the late 80's and early 90's. Their soulful anthems formed the soundtrack to college life in Boulder, where Big Head Todd could often be found playing live on a Friday night at Round the Corner on the Hill, or later before sold out crowds at the Boulder Theater.

Although they hit it big nationally with the release of Sister Sweetly in 1993 (with a radio-friendly remake of the iconic "Bittersweet"), none of their later albums--now up to 11 and counting--capture the raw talent and emotion of Another Maybury and Midnight Radio.
