As you may have guessed by now, we are avid birdwatchers. Karen and I first took up birding in Namibia, where my boss happened to be one of the most accomplished birders in the World (he's even got one named after him in Colombia!). Being highly competitive by nature, I am definitely the obsessive "lister" in our family, but Karen also enjoys ticking a new life bird when the opportunity arises.
