A country of 36 million people occupying the majority of the southern tip of South America, Argentina is a country that inspires numerous superlatives. It is the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world, and it boasts within its borders the highest and lowest points on the South American continent.
We lived in Buenos Aires from September 2002 until
November 2005, and were fortunate enough to visit 19 of Argentina's 23 provinces,
each with its own distinct landscapes, history, and culture. Below
are some photos from our little corner of South America, and links
to interesting Argentina-related sites on the Internet.
